Pennsylvania Court-Ordered Anger Management Requirements

Pennsylvania courts order anger management under Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. Common charges include Simple Assault (18 Pa.C.S. ยง2701), Harassment (18 Pa.C.S. ยง2709), Disorderly Conduct (18 Pa.C.S. ยง5503), and domestic violence offenses.

Pennsylvania has the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program that allows first-time offenders to complete conditions โ€” which may include anger management โ€” and have charges dismissed. ARD is governed by Pa.R.Crim.P. 300-320.

For domestic violence cases, Pennsylvania courts may order a batterer's intervention program under the Protection From Abuse Act (23 Pa.C.S. ยง6102). If your order says 'anger management,' our course qualifies.
